Cosmogony it is the new installation curated by the studio GiulianoFukuda and produced by ABADIR for SicilCima, a project that reflects on theme of recycling, assembly and repetition and up how objects and materials can take on new meanings.

A series of waste elements, suspended in space and supported by thin transparent threads, arranged on an invisible musical score to generate two large circumferences: a Sole, consisting of perforated elements and aluminium sheet metal, and a Luna, consisting of offcuts of profiles used in window and door installation.

In the final composition, the starting units lose their initial identity and become part of a whole which refers to another dimension of matter, as well as of meaning. The natural light of day and the artificial light of night illuminate the two bodies, accentuating their new “cosmic” nature” and projecting them into another spatio-temporal dimension.
