General information
The literal translation of “design” is “project”. Design concerns both the product itself, from the initial idea to the development and production phases, and the communication of the product itself and the activities that give it extra value on the market. Abadir's courses are multidisciplinary and provide you with the fundamental bases to work in the field of graphics, design, social media and digital environments, and to acquire essential skills for the contemporary job market.
All the lecturers are professionals in their field; the approach is both theoretical and practical, and is enriched by workshops created in collaboration with brands and companies, as well as extracurricular activities such as seminars, talks and meetings held by figures from the worlds of design, communication, business, contemporary art and culture.
Qualifications
Upon completion of the three-year course, you will obtain the First Level Academic Diploma DAPL06 in Artistic Design for Business, legally recognised by the MUR – Ministry of University and Research, equivalent to a First Level University Degree, which guarantees you access to First Level Master's degrees and postgraduate specialisation courses in Italy and Europe.
Stage
At Abadir we promote the cross-fertilisation of training and the world of work through a constant exchange with local, national and international companies.
The educational pathway includes a compulsory training internship of 100 hours (4 CFAs) which allows you to put into practice the theoretical teachings and skills acquired over the three-year period.

FAQ?
Abadir is a private academy authorised by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) to award qualifications in Higher Education in the Arts, Music and Dance (AFAM). The Academic Diploma you will receive at the end of your three-year course is fully equivalent to a three-year university degree (Article 11 of Presidential Decree No. 212 of 8 July 2005). If you would like to find out more about higher education in Italy, please visit the website www.quadrodeititoli.it
Yes. Students are permitted a total of 20% of absences out of the total number of teaching hours for each subject. If this limit is exceeded, whether a student is allowed to sit the exam is at the lecturer’s discretion.
The programme includes both face-to-face lectures and workshops on campus, as well as online learning. Teaching is both theoretical and practical and may include individual or group laboratory activities, using computer software or hands-on exercises. During online lessons, students join via live stream and can interact with the tutor and the class using the digital tools provided by Abadir. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday, 09.00–13.00 and 14.00–18.00 (though a full-time commitment is not required every day), from late October to late January and from early March to late June.
There is no entrance exam, but you must attend a motivational interview and submit a personal statement. This process is designed to help us understand and assess your reasons for wishing to undertake one of Abadir’s study programmes.
All those compatible with our study plans can be recognised and you can also benefit from the Restart Scholarship. You will need to provide the transcript of passed exams and the relative syllabus.
