The CVAD Master's program is an interdisciplinary program designed to rethink Visual Communication, taking into account local and individual specificities. It combines theory and practice, encompassing editorial, typographic, and digital graphics. Design is primarily understood here as a narrative skill, with a particular focus on the educational function of visual messages, as well as their informative and commercial aspects, and with a particular focus on marginalized territories and communities.

The master's degree has a hybrid approach, between analogue and digital: the programme includes both modules that take place entirely online and modules blended These courses combine distance learning with short, traveling workshops held in various Italian cities and towns, allowing participants to connect with local businesses and organizations.

Masterclasses with leading figures from the design world are also planned, as well as a two-week spring school held in Sicily, curated annually by internationally renowned professionals.

The master's program is aimed at students with design or communication degrees. It's an ideal opportunity to acquire transversal skills for developing communication, branding, and art direction projects closely tied to the local area and cultural promotion.

To access the master's degree, knowledge of the Adobe package (Ai, Id, Ps) is recommended.

To obtain the first-level Master's degree, you must have a Bachelor's degree or a first-level academic diploma. The Master's degree is also accessible to those who do not have one, subject to evaluation of the application.

The master's program aims to train communication designers and art directors capable of mastering various media (graphic, photographic, illustrative, audiovisual) to create engaging communication outputs. The professional fields covered include multimedia publishing, communications agencies, cultural institutions, and museums.

The program includes a curricular internship that can be completed at Abadir Academy's partner companies or at a company of your choice. The master's program also offers the opportunity to undertake traineeships in Europe funded by the Erasmus Program.

All the master's modules are curated by professionals and designed in collaboration with a series of project partners who play a strategic role in defining the briefs and understanding the local context in which the individual projects will be developed.
