At Abadir we attach great importance to internationalization processes. Our mission is to promote the culture of the project as a tool for change and, from this perspective, We believe it is crucial to promote dialogue with different cultural horizons.
Our Academy organizes and participates in numerous international activities, such as workshops, conferences and seminars, transdisciplinary research projects, cooperation projects between European and non-European countries and, more generally, activities through which to be able to exchange best practices, fuel research and improve the quality of training.

Foundation Year

A one-year course in partnership with Syracuse Academy, dedicated to international students who wish to learn Italian and pursue university studies in the field of design in Italy.

Erasmus Plus Program

Since 2017, Abadir has participated in the Erasmus+ program, which offers opportunities for mobility in European Union countries (and beyond) for study, internships, teaching, or training, enriching and enhancing the experience of each participant. The program is aimed not only at students but also at faculty and staff.

Through the Erasmus Plus Program you can spend a semester studying in Abadir.
The official language of our courses is Italian. We don't require formal language certification, but to best participate in our courses, we recommend reaching at least a B1 level (or higher).

The International Office of a partner institution wishing to nominate a student for an Erasmus mobility period at Abadir must send an email to internazionale@abadir.net with the following information:

  • Name of the home university and Erasmus code
  • Name and surname of the candidate
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Email address
  • Exchange period (first semester or second semester)
  • Subject area / Degree course attended at the institution of origin

Application

Blended Intensive Program (BIP)

BIPs – Blended Intensive Programs are intensive hybrid programs promoted by the Erasmus Plus Program, which include online learning and cooperation activities combined with short in-person mobility at a host institution in a European country, in which groups of students, teaching staff, and administrative staff can participate.
