DELIDA – Design Library and Digital Archive, the new Abadir library and multimedia space in the historic centre of Catania (map) hosted ainteractive installation curated by the Milanese studio Ditroit and a selection of projects by motion design.
The exhibition was inaugurated with a talk with Salvo Giunta.
The event was organized with the support of Enrico Gisana in the context of NIMI – the New Intelligence of Made in Italy.
The Installation
Presented at Milan Design Week 2025, DDA (Data-Driven Art) generates personalized patterns from visitors' brainwavesA sensor detects and measures the subject's brainwaves—stimulated by audio and video sensory input—and transmits them to a computer, where an algorithm processes them and transforms them into code. In real time, software translates the code into a recognizable and consistent visual language, creating graphically unique generative artworks based on subjective and unrepeatable input. The image, processed in about a minute, is then printed on a poster and given to each participant as a keepsake.
