COMFORT ZONE
Talk with Sarah Mazzetti

An illustrator and author, she collaborates with international publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, and Die Zeit. This talk explores the research process behind a selection of projects, with a particular focus on comic books. Elsa, Morandi and the green egg, which combines the artistic output of renowned Bolognese painter Giorgio Morandi with the fantastical adventures of a young witch. An opportunity to explore the creative process that transforms materials, sources, and inspirations into a personal visual and narrative synthesis.

A selection of animated typography works created by students in Abadir's Motion Design program. The exhibited works are divided into two groups: the first reinterprets, through animation, posters by historic designers such as Herbert Bayer, AG Fronzoni, Franco Grignani, Giovanni Pintori, Ikko Tanaka, and Rosmarie Tissi. The second group is dedicated to research in animated typography, in which type is pushed to its limits, sometimes maximizing its legibility and exploring its expressive and dynamic possibilities.
