FREEDOM – Mauro Bubbico

FREEDOM by Mauro Bubbico
3–11 September, Nyckelviksskolan (Stockholm)

FREEDOM is a collection of 22 posters by Mauro Bubbico, visual artisan, professor e director of Master CVAD↗  , Abadir's Master's degree programme in Visual Communication and Art Direction

The exhibition showcases his signature approach, mixing playful and profound graphic design work, where traditions and visual codes of his native region, Basilicata, are reimagined to shape a unique and modern visual language.

Running alongside the exhibition is a 2-day creative session for local graphic designers: a workshop centered around flags and political representation.

The exhibition will be open from 3 to 11 September at Nyckelviksskolan↗ , the school of art, craft, architecture and design in Lidingö, in the Stockholm archipelago (Sweden).

FREEDOM is a collaboration between Nyckelvisskolan and Abadir, organized as part of The Power of Recognition↗, an artistic research project led by graphic designers Johanna Lewengard and Benedetta Crippa at Luleå University of Technology.
