Pink Clouds

Pink Clouds

Also this year ABADIR and Giuliano Fukuda Studio, on the occasion of the Christmas holidays, they create an installation for SicilCima, a company specializing in solutions for windows and doors.

Pink Clouds It is an elusive installation with a changing soul, which assimilates the imaginative power of clouds and evokes it in the form of semi-transparent singularities. His particles, similarly to clouds, they are placed as mediators between heaven and earth, timid guardians of imaginaries on the edge of tangibility, atmospheric generators of possibilities.

Le abstract shapes clouds join the video colors created by students of the Academy during the courses Motion Design  with  Enrico GisanaVideomaking  with  Mauro Maugeri and Visual Communication Design Methodology  with  Mauro Bubbico e Simona Riccobene. These projections I am an alternation between dancing geometries e images of places that tell the story Sicilian landscape.

The suspended elements that give life to the clouds are made in a special paper with a parchment-like texture, sheets that from two-dimensional, with a few simple manipulations, they acquire volume taking shape in space.

"Ultimately we are just clouds, flashy beings of inconsistent grace, at the mercy of the breath of that burning mountain, fragile units born of collaboration, baroque spirits longing for attention."

In the Palermo store, in via Leonardo Da Vinci 147, it will be proposed again White Allegory, the installation created in 2020 as part of the Organic Forms workshop: a suspended vertical system, pure white during the day, which is tinged with soft colors at night, which is the result of the study and manipulation of the curved lines – flowers, plants, stones, waves – present in nature.
