A suspended vertical system, absolute white during the day that is tinged with soft colors at night: White Allegory It is the installation created in December 2020 within the workshop Organic Forms, laboratory of Modeling driven by Makoto Fukuda.
White Allegory is a collective work resulting from the study and manipulation of curved lines found in nature (flowers, plants, stones, waves) and combines the uniqueness of these organic forms with the exceptionality of the manual work, also capable of generating unique and unrepeatable shapes.
From this concept, the students of the course have created an installation for the Sicilcima showroom in Catania, an ethereal landscape that, with its variations in light and shape, reminds us of the innumerable faces that the landscape can take on.
Sicilcima is a company that produces windows and large glass frames: in the context of the store in Viale Africa 42, White Allegory It also represents an opportunity to discuss the importance of architectural openings through which we can enjoy outdoor spaces.
