NIMI is a multidisciplinary initiative spanning three thematic clusters: Ceramics, Textiles, FoodThrough the prototypes and outputs created by our students, you will be able to discover the core disciplines of the three-year course and delve deeper into the teaching method of our Academy, which allows you to study design and visual communication collaborating with local companies and organizations, working on real-world projects, and experimenting with both traditional design approaches and cutting-edge innovations.

NIMI Project It is a national project promoted by a consortium of Italian AFAM institutions: Accademia Italiana, Accademia Abadir, IAAD, Poliarte, SAE, and the University of Salerno.
Born within the PNRR – National Recovery and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, with the aim of strengthen the link between creativity, new technologies and artisan know-how, recognizing Made in Italy as a cultural, economic, and identity-building heritage to be rethought in a sustainable and innovative way.
Within NIMI, Abadir explores three thematic areas – Ceramics, Textiles and Food, strategic sectors for the valorization of the material and immaterial heritage of our country – through Practical workshops and project courses aimed at Academy students, lectures, talks, exhibitions and events open to the publicA concrete opportunity for training, experimentation, and knowledge exchange, connecting local artisans, contemporary designers, researchers, academics, and local communities around themes of social and technological innovation applied to design and graphics, generating new opportunities for dialogue.
